Prayer for the World Suffering from the New Coronavirus Pandemic

O loving God,

Look kindly upon the world, now in great difficulty

Through the spread of the new coronavirus.

May necessary medical care be given to those who suffer from the disease.

Guide those who work toward ending the infection.

Protect all healthcare workers and all those who care for the sick.

Welcome the deceased into your eternal kingdom.

Fill them with everlasting peace.

May hands reach out to help everyone facing anxiety and confusion.

God, the source of hope,

Guide us in this crisis

That we may spare no sacrifice to prevent the spread of the infection,

That we may serve everyone in the world,

We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Mary, source of hope and comfort,

Pray for us in this hardship.

News of online broadcast about Rosary prayers for May, the Month of the Virgin Mary

April 30, 2020

To all the faithful of the Archdiocese of Osaka:

From Thomas Aquinas Manyo Cardinal Maeda Archbishop of Osaka

+ Peace of Christ!

Pope Francis sent Letter on the Month of May, to all the faithful throughout the world.

I would quote part of his letter as follows:

Quote:

I want to encourage everyone to rediscover the beauty of praying the Rosary at home in the month of May.  This can be done either as a group or individually; you can decide according to your own situations, making the most of both opportunities.  The key to doing this is always simplicity, and it is easy also on the internet to find good models of prayers to follow.
